Covid Health & Safety Protocols

Golden heart Commitment

Golden Heart is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety at all times, but even more so during COVID-19. We have redesigned our clinic to ensure you and our team safe.

We have developed new Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with Public Health Authorities guidelines and our college’s directives. Personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, face shields), hand hygiene practices, disinfecting protocols, signs of physical distancing and staggering appointments to reduce the number of clients coming in at once as well as screening clients, staff and therapists for COVID-19 are essential for all our safety.

If you have a fever, are taking medications to reduce a fever, have a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please reschedule your appointment, self-isolate and contact your doctor.

Your health is our number one priority. Let’s stay safe and remember that physical distancing and hand washing is our best protection.

Before your session

Please arrive for your appointment on time (do not come early).
If you come early you can wait outside weather permitting or in your car.

  • Screening Questionnaire - please complete the communicable disease screening questionnaire before your appointment. This is sent to your email 3 hours prior to your appointment.
  • When you arrive at the clinic – Please wait until a Practitioner or therapist comes to greet you.
  • Hand sanitize – You will need to sanitize your hands at front counter prior to your treatment
  • Masks – All staff, practitioner and therapists and clients are required to wear masks at all times. If you do not have a mask you can purchase one for $1.
  • Physical Distancing – please keep physical distancing as we want everyone to be at a safe distance from each other.
  • Plexiglass Divider – Our front desk has plexiglass shields to protect you and our medical team
  • Come alone – Do not bring anyone with you unless they are providing assistance. Please inform the front desk BEFORE your appointment if you need to bring someone with you. This will allow us to accommodate you and prepare for your visit.
  • Limited use of washrooms – We advise to use the washroom at home prior to your appointment to minimize exposure and contact.
  • Water dispenser – Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide drinking water at the clinic during this time.

After your session

  • Hand sanitize – You will need to sanitize your hands after your session.
  • Booking your next appointment – the front desk can help you booking at the front. If you are unsure about your availability, not a problem, you can always contact us by phone at 604-620-7091
  • Sanitizing – Proper cleaning of treatment tables and equipment will be done using Canadian approved COVID-19 disinfectants.
  • Contactless Payment – We are not accepting cash, only credit or debit card at this time. Your receipt will be sent to you by email.
